Meet Mr. Zwingmann Will Zwingmann obtained a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Biology from the University of West Georgia. He started his career as an Environmental Toxicology lab manager at Clark Atlanta University, where he conducted research on 3-Methylcholanthrene and its effect on HepG2 (liver) cells. After working with graduate students in the lab, he realized that the most rewarding part of his day was sharing science with young people, so he decided to pursue teaching.Mr. Zwingmann found Westlake High School’s Math and Science Magnet Program to be a perfect fit. While at Westlake, he taught Introduction to Research Methods, Microbiology, Genetics, Biology, and Human Anatomy and Physiology to Magnet students for six years before becoming an Administrative Assistant at Creekside High School. He later accepted an Assistant Principal position at a Middle School in Carroll County. While in Carroll, he spent a total of four years in Middle School and two years in Elementary School before returning to Fulton County. He’s expressed his pleasure in having the opportunity to return to the Sandtown Community and serve as Assistant Principal.
